List | Summer Blog Finds

During summer I like to spend a lot of my time reading blogs and getting inspired by them. Over the past few weeks I've stumbled upon a few lovely new blogs to add to my reading list and thought I would share them with you! 

1. Fleur Dust, a pretty and inspiring blog by the lovely Stephanie La. I'm so in love with this amazing blog! 

2. Rose Vintage, a blog about two sisters who own a lovely mobile vintage shop! These girls are so inspiring and their lives are like something out of my dreams!

3. Windswept Wishes, a little peek into the life of a lovely lady named Carina. This pretty blog is full of yummy recipes, pretty photography and inspiration. 

4. Goodnight Little Spoon, a blog by a very talented lady named Bianca, who also lives in Launceston, Tasmania. I love getting a glimpse of my hometown through someone else's eyes!

Lovely Shop | Smug

Smug is a cute little boutique situated in Islington, London. I first heard about the lovely boutique when it was featured in the amazing Spaces book by Frankie magazine. I really love the different bits and pieces that owner Lizzie Evans finds for her lovely shop and especially love the little shop front and building itself! How cute is that little window showing a glimpse of the area downstairs?! This lovely little shop is definitely high up there on my must see list!

Christmas is well and truly on its way and to get into the mood a little bit I thought I would share a few christmas themed blogposts over the next few weeks! To start with I thought I would share a few bright and summery gift ideas. I'm secretly wishing for just about everything on this list for christmas! Next month Matt will be turning 21! To celebrate he is wanting to make the most out of the warm summer nights by having an outdoor feast, with our closest friends! He has asked me to help him plan and style it, which I'm pretty excited about as I think it will be a lot of fun!  I found these images on Pinterest and we think they are the perfect inspiration for the look and feel we want to achieve for his dinner party. I'm pretty sure he has planned it for two weeks time, so lets hope we can get it all organised and ready in that short amount of time!   

The Yellow Brick Road Boutique

Todays featured boutique is The Yellow Brick Road, a lovely, whimsical space in Auckland, New Zealand! (Why are all the best boutiques in New Zealand?!) I discovered this pretty shop when Frankie included an article about it in one of their issues and have been wishing to visit it ever since! I don't think there's another shop in this world that screams 'Janelle' as much as this one. The pretty pastel colours, the vintage display cabinets and the unique bits and pieces on offer at this shop, make me want to explore it for hours on end! The Yellow Brick Road boutique is high on my list of things to see when I visit New Zealand one day. For daily inspiration follow their Facebook page and their lovely blog!

It's that time of year when the days are heating up and it's finally warm enough to go outdoors and enjoy a picnic! Today I created a collection of my favourite picnic essentials that could be used to style the loveliest, vintage-inspired picnic! I hope it inspires you to have a picnic of your own! 

Finders Keepers Market

Another Finders Keepers Market has been and gone in Melbourne and I still am yet to go to one. I have always wanted to go to a finders keepers since I found out about the market a few years ago. I thought I might be able to go to this one but unfortunately I was far too busy with uni work and didn't really have the funds to make it this time. Here are some pretty photos that I found of the Melbourne market on the Finders Keepers facebook page. Have you been lucky enough to go to a Finders Keepers market? Swan Emporium

The Swan Emporium is an amazing looking boutique in Fitzroy, Victoria that sells the most adorable vintage inspired clothing and gifts! This boutique has so many lovely details, such as the dreamy mint green walls, the pretty frocks being organised by colour and the amazing vintage illustration feature wall! Every picture from their Facebook page makes me swoon and I will definitely have to visit this lovely place next time I'm in Melbourne!

1. Every photo by @herecomesthesunblog is pretty and perfect. Her blog is really lovely too!

2. @cobyscolyer is one of my closest friends and has one of the most lovely instagram feeds! It is full of pretty things and inspiring sweet treats! 

3. I love @flashesofstyle photos. They are so dreamy and lovely. I also love getting a glimpse of New York City through her feed! 

4. @daydreamlily has such a unique photography style that I love. She sometimes shares some of her pretty and inspiring film photography on her instagram which are amazing!

5. If you love all things vintage then you need to follow @ohsolovelystef! It's like she is actually living in the 1960s!

6. @stephanielauren's feed is full of dreamy vintage inspired photos that are just so pretty to look at!

7. Follow @yardleychase to get a glimpse into the crafty world of Heather, from Bellebird Handmade. One of the most creative and inspiring ladies you'll ever come across. 

8. @ohhellofriend was one of the first people I started to follow on Instagram and I've never gotten enough of her beautifully taken photos. Very inspiring! 

 9. Follow @yellowbrickroadboutique for cute and whimsical snaps of the loveliest boutique in the world. Oh how I wish I lived in New Zealand so I could go there for real! 

10. @silverspies has such a simple and beautiful style that makes my heart skip a beat every time she posts a new photo.
