I hope you enjoy these pretty pink pictures that I found on Pinterest today! I haven't blogged much this week, as I officially only have one month left of uni for the year and things are really starting to get busy. All of my time is dedicated to assignments at the moment and so I'm looking forward to the break so much! I also wanted to let you know that I got accepted into that market I was talking about and am excited to share some pretty things I'm working on in the lead up to it! 2. @cobyscolyer is one of my closest friends and has one of the most lovely instagram feeds! It is full of pretty things and inspiring sweet treats! 

3. I love @flashesofstyle photos. They are so dreamy and lovely. I also love getting a glimpse of New York City through her feed! 

4. @daydreamlily has such a unique photography style that I love. She sometimes shares some of her pretty and inspiring film photography on her instagram which are amazing!

5. If you love all things vintage then you need to follow @ohsolovelystef! It's like she is actually living in the 1960s!

New Vinyl

Lana Del Rey has been one of my favourite artists for a very long time now. I first started listening to her album 'Born To Die' over a year ago and am still listening to it all the time! My friend Natalie has been into music on vinyl since before it was cool and for my birthday decided to give me the Born To Die album! I have never seen such a pretty record in all my life! Now I am on the look out for a cute portable turntable such as this one or this pretty one! They are definitely going on my christmas wishlist!

A Dress I Made

Recently I've started making my own dress patterns and have finally gotten to a stage where I feel confident enough to make some dresses out of some of the pretty fabric I have collected over the years. The fabric for this dress was cut from an extra large vintage dress I had bought from an op-shop. I love to recycle clothing and give new life to old, unused dresses! Even though I have decided to keep this dress, I am excited to let you know that I have applied for a market in November where I hope to sell more dresses like this one! Shortly after the market I also am hoping to start up my online shop where I will also be selling some dresses and other lovely goods, just so no one misses out! Excited to share more updates soon!     

Floral Fabric

I love fabric! Especially the lovely, floral type. Lately I've been looking for some pretty floral fabric to make some summer dresses out of and even though I've had no luck to find any locally, I have managed to find these really nice ones on Etsy and thought they were too pretty not to share! I'm overwhelmed by just how many pretty things there are on Etsy. Sometimes I spend hours just searching through the countless pages! Now I have the difficult task of choosing which ones to buy!

I really love anything with a scallop edge! They just make things look so pretty and cute. Here are a collection of lovely scallops for your viewing pleasure today! Some of these could make cute diy projects. Why not have a go at making a scalloped collar for an old blouse or freshen up some old shorts by giving them a scalloped edge? Definitely some cute ideas for summer!   

DIY Vintage Handkerchief Bunting

I have been collecting vintage handkerchiefs for about a year now and it is fair to say I have accumulated quite a lot! The other day I decided to try and make some vintage handkerchief bunting and thought I would share how I did it here with you. The good news is it's really easy, no sewing involved at all! 

First of all, iron all of your handkerchiefs to ensure they are without creases. Then fold into triangles and iron them flat. 

Take a two handkerchiefs by the corner and tie them together with a simple knot. Keep adding handkerchiefs by the corner until you have reached your desired length.

There you have it! A lovely and simple project that can easily be accomplished in an afternoon!

Today I would like to introduce you to a new feature I'm bringing to my blog, Lovely Shops. I've always had a love for cute boutiques. I find them so lovely and inspiring, which may be due to the fact that it's been a life long dream of mine to have a boutique of my very own. The first lovely shop that I'm sharing with you is Swonderful Boutique. A beautiful and whimsical space located in Wellington, New Zealand. I have never had the luck to visit this shop in person, but it is high on my list of boutiques to visit one day! Swonderful is also home to the most lovely independent brands Papercup and The Typing Pool. Afternoon Tea

My friend Kristy makes the most amazing cupcakes and for my birthday she made me my favourite flavour, peanut butter cupcakes! I love these cupcakes so much. They are perfectly rich, the icing is deliciously creamy and there is even a little bit of peanut butter in the centre of the cupcake. A couple of days ago I finished the last one and took some photos of it so I can remember how lovely these cupcakes are. Now that spring is here I have started to exercise regularly and have decided that I need to cut the sugary treats out of my diet for a while. It was nice to enjoy this last yummy treat but I can't wait to be getting back into shape for summer!
